Hey there! As usual, the team's been working hard to provide seamless ways to provide our service and we're proud to fill you in on some of the first updates being rolled out on our web and mobile app platforms 


Real-Time Transcriptions: 

Did someone say real-time? So what this means is you're now able to have accurate transcripts taken down automatically by our improved AI which means your transcripts will be taken down as you record your media. Essentially, the app listens and transcribes your conversations but displays them for you to see when there's a pause in your conversation. This means that once you're done, all you have to do is simply just pay and your transcript will be delivered to you...instantly. While this is beneficial, please bear in mind that sometimes accuracy can be somewhat limited by a number of factors such as the quality of audio, thickness of the accent and background noises among others. In addition, you're able to easily edit automatic transcriptions by our AI. Our team is also available to vet your transcripts for accuracy at no additional cost. And in typical VocalScript fashion of spoiling you with options, the standard option remains available to have our in house team transcribe your files for optimum accuracy. Please note that the real-time transcription functionality is only available for android updates at the moment and is available right now on the Google play store. 


Text to Speech: 

As part of our update, we're adding the text to speech functionality to the VocalScript app. This new feature converts text into human-like speech in different voices across a few languages and variants. This functionality delivers high-fidelity audio which is beneficial to those who would prefer listening. The functionality is easy to use and creates lifelike interactions and transcript interaction, among other benefits. We've spent tons of hours applying deep learning neural algorithms to synthesize text into a variety of voices and Nigerian dialects. 


Voice Recording on Web Platform 

In a bid to spread uniformity across all our platforms, the recording functionality now makes its way to the VocalScript web platform. This means you can now easily make recordings from your web browser and have it transcribed instantly. Previously, this could only be done via the mobile app as recordings could only be uploaded via the web platforms via a VocalScript account.  The other advantage this new web functionality offers, albeit very minimal,  is that it serves as a competent alternative for the VocalSript mobile application. If for some reason, you do not wish to use or install the mobile application, you can also use the record functionality by logging into your VocalScript account via your web browser.
